Fees and Payments
All classes are to be paid for on a term-by-term basis, except for casual or trial lessons. Payment is due before the start of each term.
24 hours notice is required for missed one-on-one classes to be credited or rescheduled pending teacher availability. Lessons missed with less than 24 hours notice will not be credited or rescheduled.
You may pause your one-on-one lessons for up to three weeks by notifying us in writing at least two weeks in advance. If students wish to pause lessons for longer than three weeks, you may lose your preferred time slot. Students are entitled to one pause per term.
Group Classes are a weekly commitment and students are expected to attend for the whole term. Fees are non-refundable for missed lessons and programs, including those missed due to holidays, school camps, exams, or other personal reasons.
Educator & Time Slot Changes
For one-on-one lessons you may request a change in teacher or time slot, pending availability. If you have any concerns regarding an educator, please do not hesitate to contact us.
In the event that your educator is unwell or otherwise unable to take a class, a substitute teacher may be assigned to you for that class.
Photography & Social Media
Poco a Poco occasionally captures photos and videos of lessons and performances to share on our social media platforms. By signing up for a class, you are granting us permission to use and share content that may contain your likeness. If you or your child do not wish to be included in any future content, please notify us in writing.
Student Safety
Students under 15 years of age must wait inside Poco a Poco’s premises to be picked up by a parent or caregiver. In the event of a delay or an emergency where children cannot be picked up on time, please call our office as soon as possible to notify staff so we can make necessary arrangements to ensure your child is looked after. If your child is 14 or younger and you are happy for them to travel home unaccompanied, please notify us in writing.
Liability Waiver
Poco a Poco is not liable for personal belongings lost, stolen, or damaged on the premises. By booking a lesson or class, you agree to release Poco a Poco and its staff from liability for any injury, loss, or damage occurring during lessons, except where caused by gross negligence.
General Conditions
By enrolling in any classes at Poco a Poco, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Poco a Poco reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will apply to future enrolments and ongoing lessons, with notifications communicated via email and posted on our website.
